The Theatre for Children and Youth in Kragujevac, founded in 2003, is an important cultural centre specialising in puppet and drama productions for young audiences. Situated in the Trade Union House, the theatre offers a modern stage with 303 seats, allowing it to stage high-quality performances. The theatre has a rich history of participation in international festivals, such as the International Puppet Festival "Golden Spark", and numerous awards highlighting its contribution to the development of performing arts.
Each year, the theatre organises around 170 performances attended by over 40,000 spectators, including premieres of puppet and drama productions for pre-school and school-age children. The theatre also actively supports festivals such as "Festivalčić" and "Iskra", contributing to the development of creative abilities of young people. The evening stage "Scene 303", opened in 2009, expands the theatre's repertoire, attracting high school and university students.
