Baku City Circuit: The track where Formula 1 legends are born

The Australian driver took his second victory, strengthening the success achieved earlier in the Hungarian Grand Prix. Piastri impressed everyone with his speed and composure throughout the race, skillfully maintaining the necessary pace and avoiding mistakes on a difficult track. Second place went to Charles Leclerc of the Ferrari team, who demonstrated an outstanding result after the qualifying race. Third place went to Britain's George Russell of Mercedes, who took advantage of the mistakes of his rivals.

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc set a new lap record in Baku in 2023, but Red Bull Racing's Sergio Perez still holds the record for most wins here. Baku City Circuit is a unique Formula 1 track that combines speed and tight corners, running through the historic centre of Azerbaijan's capital. This semi-urban track was specially designed to host the Formula 1 Grand Prix and first hosted the race in 2016, since then it has become one of the most exciting and unpredictable on the calendar.
