Liam Lawson, a New Zealand racing driver, has already established himself as one of the most promising participants in the Red Bull Junior Development Programme. The young athlete’s impressive achievements include victories in numerous debut races and triumphs in various racing categories. Before turning 17, he has already managed to win in such series as Formula 1, Formula Ford, Asian Formula 3, Formula 4 and the Toyota Racing Series. Before the age of 20, Liam became the champion of the Toyota Racing Series, which only strengthens his position as a bright talent of world motor racing. A particular success in his career was the 2016/17 season, when he competed in the New Zealand F1600 Championship series. In 2019, Lawson won the New Zealand Grand Prix and finished first three more times during the season. He made his debut for the AlphaTauri team in the 2023 season, replacing the injured Daniel Ricciardo, and is currently ranked eighteenth.
