Thirty Seconds to Mars plans to perform a single concert in Almaty in the summer of 2025
The performance of the Leto brothers' band will be a real gift for all fans of alternative rock. It is recommended to buy tickets for the Thirty Seconds to Mars concert in Almaty in advance, as the stands of the Spartak stadium can quickly fill up.
The band was founded in 1998 by Jared and Shannon Leto, who were later joined by Stephen Aiello as a concert participant since 2013. The band gained worldwide fame after the release of their second album, A Beautiful Lie, in 2005. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2002, failed to achieve significant commercial success, but it established the band as a new phenomenon in the post-grunge genre.
In early 2022, Jared Leto told Zane Lowe of Apple Music 1 that the band was working on two or even three albums. In 2023, their sixth album, It's The End Of The World But It's A Beautiful Day, was released, which was their first release since 2018's America.
Thirty Seconds to Mars will also feature on stage with British band Yonaka. Their debut album, Don't Wait 'Til Tomorrow, was released in 2019 to positive reviews from critics. The band performs alternative rock, indie rock, and pop rock music, led by vocalist Teresa Jarvis. The band's music is characterized by an experimental approach and fits well with the work of the Leto brothers.
The band's name "Yonaka" is translated from Japanese as "Dead Night" or "Midnight". The song "Drongo", one of the band's heaviest compositions, will be performed at the concert in Almaty. Their style is characterized as "dark alternative pop with heavy riffs", which attracts a wide audience.
