There is very little time left until the semi-final games of the Final Four!

For the first time in history, the Euroleague finals will be held outside of Europe, and the United Arab Emirates have already secured the right to host the finals of the European basketball tournament next year. Four teams have reached the semi-finals: Panathinaikos, Monaco, Fenerbahce and Olympiacos. Last season, Panathinaikos defeated Real Madrid, which failed to break into the top three this year, as did the French club Paris.

The last participant in the Final Four was Panathinaikos, who defeated Turkish Anadolu Efes with a score of 3-2. Before that, Olympiacos, Fenerbahce and Monaco had reached the decisive stage of the tournament. The team from Monaco managed to snatch a victory from Barcelona, finishing the meeting with a minimal advantage of 85:84, which allowed them to advance to the semi-finals. Despite the defeat, spectators who purchase tickets for the games in Abu Dhabi will be able to see the performance of the strongest club from Monaco.

The leader in scoring in the last game was Mike James, who scored 20 points. The American point guard previously played for teams such as CSKA, Baskonia, Greek Panathinaikos and Italian Milan. In 2024, James was recognized as the Most Valuable Player of the 2023/24 Euroleague season and is looking to repeat this success, continuing to benefit his team. Georgios Papagiannis also showed an excellent game, scoring 17 points against Barcelona. The Greek centre previously played for Turkish club Fenerbahce, but is now showing excellent results with the French, having one of the best seasons of his career. Thus, after three wins and two losses, the team from Monaco has secured participation in the semi-finals of the tournament, and their performances will soon be seen in Abu Dhabi.
