Zemfira will perform on the stage of "ASP Arena" in the city of Konayev on July 6

As a true modern rebel, Zemfira breaks all boundaries in pop music, mixing different styles and boldly expressing the voices of young people from all over the world. Her style is simple and casual: blue jeans, minimalist hairstyles and makeup. Her lyrics do not have the usual pop lightness. When she sings about love, it is always drama and self-sacrifice, as in the famous song "Want?". Her words are strong, but rarely autobiographical. Zemfira has already left her mark on the history of Russian rock and roll - and this is no accident. According to legend, before becoming famous, she approached many record companies, saying that they would regret refusing her music, because she is their future. The singer revealed this episode from her life in an interview before she left Russia and moved abroad.

Zemfira released her last full-length album in 2021, while still in Russia. With each new release from Ufa, the time intervals between albums increase: the previous album, “Live in Your Head,” was released in 2013, “Thank You” in 2007, and “Vendetta” in 2005. Although sometimes individual hits appear between albums, this is more of an exception. Having moved to France and breaking the tradition of long breaks, Zemfira, together with her nephew, released the disc "Zemfira from Luka", dedicated to loneliness, fears and separations of modern times.

The album "Borderline" was named by analogy with the English term for borderline personality disorder, and its cover was created by the talented designer from Georgia Demna Gvasalia. Each composition has its own unique story. For example, the song "Kamon" was very difficult for the singer due to the complexity of writing verses. And the track "Coat", which became Zemfira's favorite on this album, was written by her while she was in the hospital. The album was created over a year in the midst of a pandemic and reflects various states and periods of the artist's life. It is distinguished by a variety of musical parts of the bass guitar and other instruments.
