The semi-final games of the Final Four will be held in Abu Dhabi in May this year

Last year, in the final match, having beaten Real, the prestigious trophy was taken by the Greek Panathinaikos. In their last meeting, the Athenians lost to Paris with a score of 98:101. The Greeks' big guard Kendrick Nunn distinguished himself, scoring twenty-two points. Panathinaikos is the only team on the European continent that has won seven Euroleague titles, including last year. 

But at the moment, the championship standings are not led by the winners, but by their sworn rivals, Olympiacos, who recently confidently dealt with the Monaco team. In second place is the Turkish Fenerbahce, and Panathinaikos is only in third. 

But Real has noticeably lost some ground this season. The Madrid team is hanging around in tenth place. In three dozen matches, the Spaniards have only sixteen victories, but fourteen defeats. In the last meeting, Jesus Mateo's team beat Crvena Zvezda away in the Euroleague, as part of the 32nd round. The match ended with a score of 78:72 in favor of the guests. Walter Tavares was the most productive player for Real, who scored fourteen points, ten rebounds and two assists.
