In May 2025, the United Arab Emirates will host the Euroleague Final Four, a key event in the world of European basketball.

Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, is actively investing in the sports industry, and the Etihad Arena has already established itself as a key venue for major events, including mixed martial arts tournaments. For example, Russian fighter Islam Makhachev achieved his victories in the lightweight division here. The arena, located in the picturesque Yas Bay area on Yas Island, is equipped with the latest technology and is ready to host world-class events such as Formula 1 races.

Although the Etihad Arena has a capacity of eighteen thousand spectators, interest in the 2025 Final Four is so high that tickets are selling out at an incredible rate. The tournament, which will be held from May 23 to 25, promises to bring together basketball fans from all over the world.

In 2024, the Athens club Panathinaikos won the Final Four, beating Real Madrid with a score of 95:80. It was their seventh consecutive victory in this tournament, which is a record.
