The 2025 Euroleague Final Four semifinal games will be held in Abu Dhabi
This sports complex in the capital of the United Arab Emirates has long been popular among sports fans, hosting not only basketball competitions, but also mixed martial arts (MMA) tournaments. For the first time in history, the 2025 Euroleague Final Four will be held outside of Europe and will be held in Asia. The UAE has invested heavily in organizing this event and intends to continue hosting this prestigious basketball tournament for the next two years. Abu Dhabi will pay the Euroleague 50 million euros for the right to host the Final Four in 2025. Interestingly, most of these funds will be distributed among the tournament's shareholder clubs, including Moscow's CSKA.
Last year, the tournament was held in Berlin, where Real Madrid lost to Panathinaikos in the final match with a score of 95:80. In the battle for third place, Olympiacos beat Fenerbahce 87-84, which puts the two Greek clubs among the winners. Panathinaikos won the title for the seventh time. The winner this year in Abu Dhabi will be known after the 2025 Euroleague semifinals, tickets for which are available now. The tournament will feature the same teams as last year: Real, Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and Fenerbahce. Panathinaikos is again the favorite and is aiming for its eighth championship, but the outcome of the tournament is unpredictable and every team has a chance to win.
