2025 Euroleague Basketball Semifinals to Be Held in Riyadh
The first Final Four tournament was held in Ghent, but over time the geography of the competition has expanded significantly. Now it's the turn of the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi. Since its foundation in 1987, all matches have been held exclusively in European cities, but this year it was decided to hold the Final Four in an Asian country, and the Euroleague supported this innovation.
The four best basketball clubs traditionally compete for the title of the strongest, and this time the competition is leaving Europe for the first time to take place at one of the most modern arenas in the world - the Etihad Arena. This stadium has already hosted various basketball events and mixed martial arts tournaments, and also became the venue for friendly matches of the US team before the last Olympics. The Etihad Arena can accommodate up to eighteen thousand spectators and has excellent infrastructure, which guarantees that the semi-finals will be held at the highest level.
